Scheduled construction works at Hobart Private Hospital
29 July 2024 – 6 September 2024

We wish to advise that construction works are scheduled to commence on the Hobart Private front awning facing Argyle Street. Whilst these works have been scheduled to minimise the impact on operations, there will be times when access via the front entry might be impacted.

Works will occur in eight stages from 29 July until 6 September and generally occur from 9am – 5pm daily.

To ensure safe access to our facility during these times, a staff member will be present to provide safe and efficient access to the Main Entry and Emergency department while works are conducted within each zone.

All pedestrian ramps and steps will be closed; however, the steps outside Emergency will remain open. Pedestrian access to the hospital will be via the existing vehicle ramp.

Vehicle access will be via the closed-lane compound under the direction of traffic controllers. This compound will be a drop-off & pick-up zone only.
