To ensure the patient has adequate cover, the Coordinator will take the patients details, ensure a health fund check is done and will contact you to discuss the admission.

The Medical Advisory Committee (MAC) at Hobart Private Hospital comprises representation from each of the clinical specialties.

The MAC meets regularly and is responsible for monitoring and making recommendations regarding medical practice and patient care provided by the Visiting Medical Officers (VMOs), consultants and employed medical staff.
